Scott Valley is a beautiful location where one can find scenic ranches, old barns and historic towns. It’s always worth the drive. Whenever I pass this tree I feel compelled to stop and take a picture. The tree seems to have a classic or archetypal shape and it’s set in a working ranch environment. I can even use it to frame a rustic red barn in the distance. Photographed in Siskiyou County, CA.
