#174B - MOUNTAINS IN THE MIST - PHDR (1:1.25)
Smoke and mist fill the canyons between the blue hills that seem to stretch to forever. This is the view looking south down the Sacramento River canyon from the slopes of Mt. Shasta. Back lighting on the smoke and mist creates an other-world feel to the scene. Perhaps this is the Shire where Hobbits dwell. Photographed in Siskiyou County, CA.
