#41 - MYSTIC MOUNTAIN (1:1.5)
With ever changing clouds, weather and atmospheric conditions, Mount Shasta always looks a little different each time you look at it. This photo was taken on Nelson Ranch in Siskiyou County, CA where the mountain often reflects in the lake. The mystic effect was achieved by reducing the number of bits per color channel. This reduces the number of colors that can display preventing smooth color transitions and creating a posterized effect.
