#8A -BIRD OF THE APOCALYPSE (reflected on maroon with sunburst 1:1.25)
Turkey vultures are interesting if not beautiful to look at. Their wings and tail are equipped with incredible flight control surfaces which are linked by muscles, tendons and nerves to a bird-brain that orchestrates them into seemingly effortless flight. This vulture was photographed near Livermore, CA. The photo-art presentation was inspired by Revelation chapter 19.
