QUAIL ARE BEAUTIFUL BIRDS, FUN TO WATCH BUT NOT EASY TO PHOTOGRAPH. THESE QUAIL PHOTOGRAPHS REPRESENT MANY HOURS OF PHOTOGRAPHY IN SISKIYOU COUNTY, CA. IN ORDER TO PRODUCE PLEASING PHOTO ART THAT CAN FIT INTO A VARIETY OF SETTINGS, I HAVE DIGITALLY ISOLATED INDIVIDUAL QUAIL IMAGES AND PLACED THEM IN DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS OR IN IMAGES OF THEIR NATURAL HABITAT IN SISKIYOU COUNTY. THIS ALLOWS US TO APPRECIATE THE BIRDS IN THEIR NATURAL SETTING.
