After a good hike and a long wait I was able to catch this train crossing a trestle over the Sacramento River near Dunsmuir. I took a series of pictures as the train progressed over the trestle to ensure I captured everything the scene had to offer. With the deep rumble of the engine, the shaking of the ground and ear-splitting squeal of steel wheels on steel tracks it was exhilarating to say the least. Photographed in Siskiyou County, CA.
